Honorable Colleagues Distinguished Guests Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is with great pride and pleasure that I welcome the convening of the Fourth International Conference, organized in collaboration between the Department of Translation, College of Arts, and the Department of English Language, College of Education. The conference, entitled “Current Trends in Applied Linguistics,” represents a significant academic endeavor that brings together scholars, researchers, and practitioners from around the world.
This event provides a distinguished platform for the exchange of ideas, the presentation of innovative research, and the discussion of contemporary challenges and opportunities in the field of applied linguistics. At Al-Noor University, we firmly believe that such scholarly gatherings enrich academic discourse, foster collaboration across disciplines, and strengthen the role of higher education in advancing knowledge and addressing global issues.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the committees contributing to the preparation and organization of this conference, as well as to the faculty members and participants whose efforts and dedication will make this event possible.
